Birthday reminders without Facebook

If a social network was how you remembered birthdays, leaving it or checking it less means those reminders quietly disappear. The fix is to keep the dates that matter yourself, for the people you choose, with a reminder early enough to do something about it.

Keep only the dates you care about

You do not need every acquaintance's birthday. Add the people you would genuinely want to message, call, or send something to. A birthday without a known year works too.

Choose how early to be reminded

A reminder on the day is enough for a message. A week or a month ahead gives you time for a card or a gift. Klivka lets you choose the timing for birthdays and for each meaningful date, such as an anniversary.

Remember more than the date

The date tells you when. A gift idea you noted months ago, or what they told you the last time you spoke, tells you what to say.

How this works in Klivka

  1. Add a birthday

Add Mateo's birthday to his profile. Leave out the year if you do not know it.

  2. Choose how early

Turn on birthday reminders and pick a lead time that works for you.

    One week before

  3. See what is coming

Upcoming birthdays and meaningful dates appear on Today, and Klivka can email you too.

  4. Reach out with context

Open the profile to see your gift ideas and recent notes, then message or call.

A good pair of running socks

Klivka never reads your inbox, messages, calendar, or social accounts. It only knows what you choose to write down.
